SPOTLIGHT STAGE SCHOOL is an independent part-time stage school based in North Solihull. It is the only school in the area where aspiring performers can train in all aspects of theatre arts, whilst continuing academic studies at their existing school.
The school was founded in 2000 by principal Vicky Richards who realised that todays performer required more than just dance, drama or singing training - they need to be competent in all three! Starting with just 60 pupils, the school has grown from strength to strength and now provides tuition to over 250 pupils on a weekly basis with many past pupils graduating into professional performance and teaching work. There are classes suitable for beginners of all ages, as well as those with previous experience. As well as learning technical skills, SPOTLIGHT places a strong emphasis on performance. This helps to improve childrens’ self confidence in a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere.

During their time at SPOTLIGHT, pupils have the opportunity to meet and work with various famous faces of stage and screen.
